MITRO Achieves AAALAC Full Accreditation for the Third Time

March 24, 2025 — MITRO Biotech Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Full Accreditation by AAALAC International (the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care) for the third consecutive time, reaffirming its commitment to the highest global standards in laboratory animal welfare and research ethics.

 

This accreditation recognizes MITRO’s outstanding performance across multiple dimensions:

  • Robust Institutional Support: A well-structured management system led by the Institutional Official, Vice President, IACUC, and veterinary teams;
  • Expert Animal Care: A highly skilled veterinary team ensuring optimal animal health under the leadership of the Director of Laboratory Center;
  • State-of-the-Art Facilities: Advanced equipment for both small and large animals, enabling cutting-edge drug discovery;
  • Continuous Improvement: Full resolution of prior recommendations noted during the 2024 site visit.
